Location
Fossa Caravan and Camping Park is located in the village of Fossa, Killarney. Fossa is 5km west of Killarney Town centre on the main Ring of Kerry/Killorglin Road (N72/R562). Our Holiday Park overlooks the famous MacGillycuddy Reeks and is just a 5 minute stroll to Lough Leane, set in a country environment and yet just a 5 minute drive to the lively small town of Killarney with all its shops, pubs and restaurants.
Killarney and the surrounding area boasts’ some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland and our Holiday Park is centrally located with this area for touring the Ring of Kerry.

By Car
From Dublin
Take the M50 out of Dublin. Merge with the N7 to Naas. At Naas, continue onto the M7(N7) for Kildare Town, following the N7 route for Monastrevan - Portlaoise - Roscrea - Nenagh, and onto Limerick.
At Limerick, follow the signs for the N21 Tralee/Killarney. On the N21, you travel through Adare - onto Rathkeale - through Newcastle West - Abbeyfeale, and on into Castleisland. At Castleisland, look for the signs for Killarney (Kerry Airport) - N23 to Farranfore. At Farranfore, join the N22 for Killarney.
On arrival into Killarney town, you will come to the first roundabout - the the 3rd exit off. Continue onto the second roundabout and again take the 3rd exit off - all the time following signs for the (N72) Ring of Kerry / Killorglin / Cahirciveen / Dingle. Continue for 5KM - Fossa Caravan & Camping Park is the second caravan park on the right after the school and church (you will see our forecourt and sign as shown above).
From Rosslare
From Rosslare Harbour, the N25 will take to Cork. Follow signs for Wexford - New Ross - Waterford - Dungarvan - Youghal - & on into Cork.
On the approach road into Cork, you look for the Jack Lynch Tunnel (this will by-pass Cork City for you). Watch for signs for the South Ring Westbound & follow same. You now need the N22 - signs for Killarney & Tralee.
Once on the N22, you will by-pass Ballincollig - onto Macroom - Ballyvourney - over the county bounds & on to Killarney.
At Cork/Mallow Junction (N22/N72 Roundabout)
Continue on towards Killarney Town. At the top of the hill, you will come to the 1st roundabout - take the 2nd exit off (following signs for Tralee / Kerry Airport / Killorglin). After approx 500 metres, you will come to the 2nd roundabout. Again, take the 2nd exit off. Continue on to the 3rd roundabout. Get in left lane and take the 2nd exit off, following the signs for (N72) Ring of Kerry / Killorglin / Cahirciveen / Dingle. Continue onto the 4th roundabout and the 3rd exit off. Continue for 5km. Fossa Caravan & Camping Park is the second caravan park on the right after the school and church (you will see our forecourt and sign as shown above.
